About Me
Hello there! I’m a southern California-based photographer operating out of Anaheim with over 10 years of experience behind the camera. I fell in love with all kinds of arts forms at an early age. I was blessed to experience painting, drawing, and music growing up. Experiencing these different art mediums would later inspire much of how I viewed photography, with music being the biggest influence in my creativity.
My photography has always been about evoking and capturing emotion through an image. Whether that be wonder, joy, excitement, anger, pain, love, yearning, or any other emotion. I don't want to just take images that look good technically, but also connect with you, the viewer to make you feel something. That's why I love doing what I do, and why the love I have for photography is endless. Every moment I capture is another opportunity to connect with someone in way they may have never experienced before.
My Vision
Why I Do What I Do
At the heart of everything I do lies a love for creativity and storytelling. Everyone and everything that has been or will be has a story behind it. The stories that are internalized in every person or thing are what adds to the beauty they hold. My goal is to capture that in every image I take. I always aim to find the beauty in life and connect people to nature and the feelings within themselves. There's so much brightness in joy, strength in resilience, and peace in calmness. Discovering how to allow viewers to experience emotions that connect themselves to my photos in even the least "expressive" of photos such as a landscape photo is a goal of mine. At the very least, I'd want you to be able to see yourself inside of such an image. I hope this is your experience as you see my images :).
The Work I Do
I specialize in event photography, portraits, concerts, and outdoor photography. For events, I do everything from weddings, corporate events, to recitals, to farmers markets, reunions, and more. I love capturing the candid moments for people to see themselves in. In my experience those photos are the ones most loved by my clients. To me those moments are the most human aspect we can all look back on captured in time. I also thoroughly enjoy being at events and experiencing different music, culture, food, and languages. Every event is different and I'm always excited to be working one.
With Portraits, I love creative captures and candid captures. It's a lot of fun working with other peoples creative energy to create images that are very them. That's what portraits are all about to me, capturing the you, as YOU want to be perceived.
Along with these two skillsets, I also love doing concert photography. Music has always been a huge passion of mine and I love going to concerts. To see artists I know and love as well as new artists I've never heard of, move a crowd's emotional energy is a blessing to experience. I'm always happy to be taking photos at concerts.
Finally I make prints of my outdoor and travel photography! My love for nature, wildlife, and unique cityscapes gets to be put into physical prints for you to own. I appreciate every print that's bought, it makes me happy knowing people love my photos enough to bring them into their home.
